Collection: Lustrous Landscapes
I love the great outdoors, whether it's walking or running with my dog, cycling or cold water swimming.
Whilst out in nature I enjoy soaking up the surrounding views, experiencing the feeling of space and tranquility that being in the countryside brings. I become truly aware of the vibrancy of the colours and the textures of nature.
I have created a series of paintings inspired by walks in the countryside both in North Somerset where I live now and also Devon where I grew up. I wanted to portray the lustrous colours and textures of these landscapes on my paintings by using the gold, copper and silver leaf as a backdrop to the paintings.
I hope to bring a sense of joy and serenity within these paintings so that you may experience this every time you look at your chosen painting.
