This painting reflects my imagination of a spring hare who has just popped up on it's hind legs to scour it's neighbourhood.

I have always loved hares and when I think of the countryside I visualise hares popping up in long grass and spurting across a field.   One night I stood in my garden and was mesmerised by the radiant spring moon. May's full moon is often known as the flower moon thanks to the abundant blooming that occurs as Spring gets going properly.  Other names include the hare moon.  This magnificent hare stands on watch in front of a gold spring moon.
