Harper the Heron
A long-legged wading heron is a regular visitor on the riverbank which runs along our home garden. The heron stands so still and patiently in the long grass, hoping that a fish, frog or small mammal will appear.
Harper the Heron stands elegantly in front of a gold full moon which radiates in the background. The glorious gold moon sparkles in the light, evoking feelings of luxury and prosperity.
I am always surprised and in awe when I spot an impressive heron. It reminds me of the joy and beauty of nature that is all around us if we just take time to appreciate it. I felt inspired to paint Harper to remind me of those enchanting sightings in nature and to connect to those feelings of happiness and harmony.
