Gold and light blue feathers on green

I find feathers alluring.  The delicate strands,  shape and form remind me of the essential qualities of the birds they derive from.  Feathers are like hints of flight, warmth and beauty.

Peacock feathers are the essence of glamour and decadence.  They are enchanting as they exude  feelings  of luxury and exuberance.

This is a contemporary painting with tones of turquoise in the background.  A light blue feather adds to  the backdrop, accompanied by a simple gold feather and a  majestic gold peacock feather.

Size: 30cm x 30cm x 3cm

An original painting.  Acrylic paint on canvas with gold leaf.  Signed on the front.  Canvas has a 3cm deep edge and the painting continues around the edges of the canvas.

UNFRAMED.  Ready to hang.

This painting is sent to you wrapped in recycled bubble wrap, cardboard corner protectors and corregated cardboard on the outer layer.

Please Note: Colour varies from screen to screen and devices.   Colours are captured as accurately as possible.

"I am completely in love with Clariisa the Crane. I love the hues of Clarissa's plummage against the vibrancy of the moon and the delicacy of the grasses. Thank you so much Becky, this painting is a treasure."
