Flora The Flamingo
Flora the Flamingo is beautiful and elegant. She is painted in a palette of pink acrylics on a backdrop of gold leaf which sparkles and radiates in the light.
Flora is a Greater Flamingo and was inspired by the memory of spotting these beautiful birds in the Serengeti Park in Tanzania. Flamingos are such elegant birds with their slender legs and long graceful necks. Flora evokes the feeling of joy you get when seeing such beauty in nature. In amongst the tropical leaves and hibiscus flowers, Flora reminds us of the serenity of escapism when visiting far off lands.
