Estelle was inspired by a kingfisher I saw one day in Spring. The kingfisher flew along the river which runs along our garden. I was mesmerised as I watched it perch on a branch, remaining perfectly still and intent. It swiftly dived down into the water to catch a fish and hastily flew off.
The flash of blue and orange of the bird was eyecatching and enthralling. On the other side of the river a beautiful magnolia was in full bloom. Witnessing this magical moment filled me with joy and I felt compelled to catch this glorious scene.
